Fundraising Event #1

On 26 August 2021, Docomomo hosted the first fundraising event at The Projector at Golden Mile Tower.

The event showcase the screening of award-winning film Gagarine, directed by Fanny Liatard and Jérémy Trouilh, which evolves around Yuri and his friends who are trying to prevent their government estate housing project from being demolished.

The screening was followed by a panel discussion around Community and Conservation with Darren Soh — prominent architecture photographer, Dilip Doshi — resident and MCST committee member of The Arcadia condo, and Bee Thiam Tan — film director with the latest hit Tiong Bahru Social Club, moderated by Jiet-Hwee Chang — Docomomo Founding Committee member and Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture, National University of Singapore.

The event also launched the online shop of architecture art pieces collection for Docomomo Singapore fundraising, which include architecture photography prints by renowned photographers Jeremy San and Darren Soh as well as building miniatures by Spatial Anatomy.
